Southern Bay Craft Beers Launched

Southern Bay Brew Co in Moolap celebrated the release of the first two beers brewed under the direction of new Head Brewer, Steve ‘Hendo’ Henderson.

The launch of the new beers was held at in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. It included free tastings of the entire Southern Bay line of beers.

The Requiem Uber Pale Pilsner is a hop forward, crisp lager that will appeal to many beer drinkers.  Hendo has brewed this beer to prove that not all craft beer has to be ‘out there’ or experimental, but that lagers can be clean and approachable.

The Metal Head Robust Porter is roasty and chocolaty, with a touch of coffee at the end.  This dark beer is perfect for the winter season, and in 500ml bottles, is great for sharing on a cold night.

Look out for them at your craft beer store, or ask your local to stock it for you and all the other punters that will enjoy them!
